Go to Chromium --> "Settings" --> "System" --> disable "Use graphics acceleration when available" --> "Relaunch".
Thank you so much, vinada! I followed your suggestion to disable the 'Use graphics acceleration when available' setting in Chromium, and it completely resolved the issue. I can't believe I didn't think of that myself. Thanks again for your help!
