So I've got a few raspberry pis, and some orange pis.. I was wondering if there's a way to use a display with a 50 pin ribbon cable with a raspberry pi? Either using HDMI, RCA, or one of the Raspberry pi display ribbon cables. Preferably HDMI. I am comfortable with soldering and putting together a small PCB if need be. The model number of the display I'm using is "AT080TN52" and it's not touchscreen. The datasheet is available online, and it shows the pinout and details of the display. However, I'm not exactly sure what pins are necessary and what should go to what. Please let me know if you have any info on how to do this, any tips, or if it's not even possible to go from 50 pin directly to HDMI without additional hardware and components.
