How do I connect to it using a wired ethernet connection, if the pc doesn't have ethernet. Should I use an ethernet to usb cable? How would I control the RPI after I connect it?So I have connected my RPI via internet.
I went on to the pi and allowed access to SSH on the prefrences.
So you have access to the Pi via a connected keyboard, mouse, and monitor.I believe I'm using the RPI OS lite (64 bit)
Yes. You already said that. But that wasn't what I asked. Please post the output of the following command:Code:
cat /etc/os-release
Although I can't find the IP address, when its clearly connected to the same wifi.
Are you 100% certain the Pi is connected to your WiFi?I am using the Pi Imager.
Which version of imager? Older ones won't support RPiOS Bookworm.Everyone has to start somewhere so no need to appologise.I used the link you provided, but without the IP i cant do anything.
I am sorry, I'm very new to this.
You're going to need non-network access to your Pi to solve this I'm afraid. Or you need to reimage an SD card making sure you enter the correct WiFi credentials, enable ssh, and create a user in RPi Imager.
You also might want to try a wired ethernet connection and to check the power supply for your Pi is up to the job. If you have a USB 3 drive attached to the Pi you might want to disconnect it as those have been know to cause interference with WiFi.
