I'm not very skilled with Unix based OSs, so it took a while to try to decipher the info in the suggested topic link. End result, couldn't locate some of the referenced files, and the one that I did find and edit had no effect.
Further information related to the request for help. On my Pi 5 "Application Menu", the last 3 items are "Preferences", "Run", "Logout". Pi 4 "Application Menu" is missing "Logout". It was there until my monitor failed and I had to power the Pi 4 off without a formal "Shutdown" command. Seeking help on how to recover/reinstall the command.
