Possibly unrelated but still worth a note, unless ISP Telenor told you so, you shouldn't use network 88.88.88.1/24 as if it were yours

Otherwise in the olden days APSTA mode was definitely fragile too. There were pesky dependencies by which parameters of the STA had to be shared with the AP (channel, encryption type.) With the added difficulty that the AP had to start first.
So the right sequence was:
- Connect the STA to its AP and find current channel/cipher
- Disconnect properly
- Configure and start the micro-AP with said parameters
- Connect the STA
And in case of problem, tear down both and restart from scratch.
Perhaps the situation is still the same. I haven't used raspios in a good while and never used network manager.
