Dear all,
I have been trying to install 64 bit Raspberry Pi OS with desktop on laptop. I used imager to create SD card bootable and stick on laptop with F12 to select boot menu. Booting from SD card on usb port to install os, I encounter blank screen on two laptops. I tried to change config text but no avail. Please advice me. Falling installation on very begging like this is discouraging. Thank you.
Can you give details of the hardware that you use as a laptop? Raspberry Pi themselves do not produce a laptop computer capable of running their Raspberry Pi Operating System (RasPiOS). Unless you mean an RPi400? https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/ra ... -400-unit/
If you have a conventional 'intel' PC that would otherwise run Microsoft Windows, then that hardware is not able to run RasPiOS.
There is an alternative distribution "Debian Bullseye with Raspberry Pi Desktop" that can be run on an 'intel' PC, but it is very dated and only available in a 32-bit version. https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/ra ... i-desktop/
