I wonder why the

> # Contents of /etc/apt/sources.list

listed there are defaulting to Debian sources
(e. g. "deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm main contrib non-free non-free-firmware")
instead of the Raspberry Pi sources
(e. g. "deb http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org/raspbian/ bookworm main contrib non-free rpi")

What's the reason / advantage of doing this?
