Raspberry Pi OS • Re: kernel is still the old version after reboot

Ok, thank you for your response. Indeed, I must have forgotten to do something during the upgrade. However, it's strange that even when I was on Debian 11, the kernel wasn’t updated—it was still 6.1.21-v8+. So, is this issue really due to the Bookworm upgrade?
Move that /boot partition to /boot/firmware/ otherwise the kernel updates will fail.

Show the output of "apt policy linux-image-rpi-v8", it should look something like this

Make sure you got rid of the old raspberrypi-kernel package.
