Some of us custom users use xdm. Works great, and is super-lightweight. I've looked at wdm and sddm, but didn't like either of them, so still on xdm after 20+ years![:lol:]( "Laughing")
okay, you do know lxde is dead/dying
they moved on to lxqt
X11 is also long been on the chopping block
most of us custom users normally skip a login manager & just do the tty autologin
