Guys pls help me out, complete newbie here.
I have installed rpi imager, and tried to flash it onto my 128 gig micro sd card. After the process, files such as the wpa_ thingy that stores info about the network connection, were not downloaded. Also, there was no 'boot' file created. I have tried reformatting the sd card with cmd, and adding a new volume, but nothing seems to work. I have tried creating that file and an ssh file, but I couldn't connect to the pi. I hope somebody replies. Thanks in advance!

It sounds as though you are guessing, or using some misleading resource from a 3rd-party.
