Installing VS Code or VS Codium, both resulted in running for about 30 seconds before displaying the error message:
reason:crashes, code:'5' and giving the option to either Close the current window, or Open another Window.
I'm running on a Pironman 5, huge heat sink, I monitor the temps, it never gets above 40, and the processing doesn't top out.
I am running 16Gb of ram, with 2Tb of NVMe M.2 SSD memory, and I'm not running out of space.
There are several tickets on Github concerning this issue that other users are having with their Raspberry Pi 5, but I didn't see it here.
Maybe you all are having better luck running VS Code or Codium?
Tried changing the graphics driver from Wayland WFire to X11 to Wayland labwc, doesn't matter, occurs on all,
although Wayland Labwc or the X11 drivers have fewer issues with other functions.
X11 gets rid of the folder sticking to the prompt, and Labwc gets rid of remapping my keyboard, where Wfire remaps a tilda to my pipe key on my Dygma Raise 2 split keyboard.
Either I fix this so I can use either Code or Codium, or I switch to another machine that uses AMD or Intel processors, and I don't have this issue for my coding.
