The OS will optimise everything for you. It's what it's for.Hello everyone,
I'm new to Raspberry Pi and am looking to optimize the device for a personal project. Specifically, I want to set up a small server to run lightweight applications, but I'm not sure how to optimize performance and manage resources effectively. I'm using Raspberry Pi 4 with Raspberry Pi OS, but I'm still wondering about issues such as:
Which operating system is best to ensure stable performance?
Are there any tools that help monitor and manage CPU and RAM resources well?
What tips help reduce power consumption when running continuously?
Looking forward to receiving advice from experienced people. Thank you very much!
Aside from that, you only optimise stuff after you've got it working and discover that it needs to be optimised.
