Solved it!It does require a little tricky behavior. Not a direct thing.
1. At home. use the nmtui function to add a dummy link and give it a name to recognize
2. At the location, remove the SD card from the device and plug into a laptop.
3. Access the file sudo nano {device}/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/{dummy-name}.nmconnection
4. Replace the 'ssid' and 'psk' with the network ID and Passcode of the location
5. Replace the SD card in the device and power up.
Worked just fine.
