Hello everyone.
I am fresh when it comes to RPi. I have a rather unusual configuration as I am using two screens: 1:1024x600 and 2:1920x480.
By default, the system has a Squeekboard virtual keyboard installed, which I have successfully managed to set up to display on the second screen. Everything would be fine if there was some way to configure it and set the size of the keyboard - currently it only takes up half the screen, which is not comfortable as a result.
EDIT: Unfortuitously, I found out that Squeekboard ALWAYS takes up half the screen - so, this virtual keyboard is not suitable for my applications.
I tried other solutions, such as OnScreen, but here I relented, as the keyboard did not work, that is, it displayed, but blinked and did not respond. Likewise with its configuration, fixing it to display on the second screen had no effect - always the active screen, regardless of the configuration. I let it go.
I installed wvkbd. It is OK, although a bit clumsy, but.... it is possible to set its size. Unfortunately, no way I can get it to show up on the second screen.
Can any of you, help me with this issue?
EDIT: By chance, wvkbd started up on the second screen when the mouse cursor was on it. This gives a half answer to my question as now, I would like it to happen regardless of the mouse position.
