Raspberry Pi OS • No updates of late?

Up until a few weeks ago my RPi desktop would regularly have an update icon at the top right, and I’d dutifully download and install the updates. The last few weeks or so there’s been no sign of any updates via this mechanism. Is this because there are no updates, or is something broken?
