Raspberry Pi OS • Pi OS 32bit gets stuck after apt upgrade reboot

Hi,

I'm using Raspi OS lite 32bit on my Raspi5 with 8GB.
I was trying to run an apt update and apt upgrade on my system - seems the Kernel 6.12.20 is being installed on it.
After reboot, it gets stuck in the boot-up at different places, staying un-usable.

It is reproducible with the original image downloadable and installable with Raspi Imager -> just install it, run apt update and apt upgrade, reboot.

Happened on different Pi5s and different SD cards, so I don't think this would be an individual problem..

Somebody else having the same issues?

What should I do?
