I have a RP5 running PI OS where I am the first user. (The PI user has been removed). I can do su just fine. However, I created a new user but they cannot do su. The second user has to do sudo su. (I know this is a small thing, but small things bug me. Also, I don't need anyone to tell me I should not be doing su. I understand the risk and I am ok with it.) I checked the group memberships and both users are the same. I have done a ton of research and tried different things, but nothing so far has worked. I do know that because su work for me, there is something about the other user. Does anything come to mind that could keep one user from being able to do su? Thanks.
