Just a question out of curiosity - when is the next major Raspberry Pi OS update going to come out? I ask just because I think a couple of new features would be nice. For example, having a proper notifications dock would be nice (like you click on the bell icon or the time to get a list of the notifications you got) with a "Do not disturb" button and maybe a focus button (blocks all notifications and distracting apps (which you can change) for however long you want, and gives you breaks) and having a nicer applications menu would also be nice (take an idea from Windows and put suggested docs and such there). I also think that a proper search bar that's already (without needing to type anything) there would be good. Just one other thing - having just a dedicated Control Panel or Settings app instead of having it spread out across multiple little apps in the Preferences category would be great.
I guess what I'm saying is that Ubuntu does a nicer job of keeping everything neat. I have nothing against the current Raspberry Pi OS, but I just find that having it a little bit more user friendly would be good. Little things like having a good app store already preinstalled (I'm thinking Pi-apps) and making these little changes that get an OS to be very nice and smooth just makes it better. So yes, that's my *ahem* little question.
