Hi I program a raspberry for a company. I will leave the pi in the company. I gave the pi a static IP using nmcli. But I am afraid that when they do changes to the network the pi isn't accessible anymore. So I want to give them a method at hand to change the WiFi for the pi. I tried using wpa_supplicant.conf. But that didn't work, I think it's deprecated on Bookworm. So is there a way to change the WiFi network on the SD card.
You may be leaving an unsustainable and unmaintainable installation for your clients.
What tools will the apparently unskilled staff of the company have to allow them modify the wireless network configuration on the microSD card? Because naive use of a Microsoft WIndows PC will not itself be sufficient to enable them to change the configuration, even if they knew what changes to make.
And also bear in mind that the configuration of a wireless client so that it can establish an association with a wireless 'hotspot' or Access Point is a separate consideration to the configuration of an IP address, static or otherwise.
