I had a github project for the RPI 2/3 and needed a crude way to implement scripts due to no onboard clock as well as a crude way to restart HostAPD (as Stop/start/restard commands didn't work as expected).
Thinking about upgrading the project and have a few questions for those familiar with the new boards.
My project puts the board into AP Broadcasting mode with no internet, I think the new board has a battery for time, is that correct ?
Also the Raspberry Pi OS, what networking package does it use ? I doubt it's still HOSTAPD.
I should also state that the OS was Headless with shell on screen displays, if Bash on screen displays for screen builds has altered in any way then I would be interested in these developments.
I am wishfully hoping for clock function despite no connection to internet and HostAPD for networking has been replaced, as these were my major hurdles in the RPI 2/3 days.
Thanks
