Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Change User Name

If I have chosen the wrong group for this post, I apologize.

Here's the scenario:

I have a freshly created Micro-SD card.

I have created the empty SSH file in that card.

I am logged into the Pi using SSH.

I am looking for commands to complete two different actions:

1. Change user 'pi' to a different user name while keeping all of the groups and privileges 'pi' was associated with.

2. Create a new user name with all of the same groups and privileges that 'pi' has.

Can anyone help me with these?
