Hi,
I'm working on a project where a Raspi is meant to show pictures and movies automatically. My hardware is a 4GB Raspi 5, with a 256GB Raspberry NVME M2 SSD. I have two identical setups.
On one of them the OS gets into a weird state about 20 seconds after boot. At first all looks normal, except that the connection to WiFi takes a little longer. Then, after about 20 seconds, the background image disappears, and none of the UI elements respond anymore. I attached a picture of how that looks.
When I hit ESC on the keyboard, the screen goes black. Still, nothing reacts to mouse events (but the mouse pointer moves).
Is this a hardware problem, or something wrong with the settings?
Note: I have changed some parameters in /boot/firmware/config.txt (in both setups). I added this:Thx,
Stef
