With Trixie and labwc/wayland, it seems scrot is, at best, able to produce useless black images and most of the examples provided in this link simply don't work or produce errors.
Unless there is some sort of magical parameter to use or add somewhere, scrot is useless.
Which explains why grim is set by default with the PrintScreen keybinding... imho...
