-geometry is an X11 thing, If by "recommended 64-bit image" you mean Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm and your Pi has 2GB or more RAM it's likely using wayland/wayfire instead of X11.
You have, I think, three options:
If you Pi is already using X11 then I've no idea. Unless you chosen application doesn't support that option.
Oh, and the stardard X11 option is -geometry. One - not two.

- Ask the application developer for proper Wayland support.
- Find the wayland equivalent and see if the application supports it.
- Change back to X11 from Wayland (sudo raspi-config then look under "Advanced Options")
