Raspberry Pi OS • Auto-Hide Toolbar on Trixie

I'm having trouble figuring out how to auto-hide the desktop toolbar.

I've tried the solutions that work for Bookworm but something else seems to be up as it only makes the toolbar half the size.

There is no wayfire I guess as this is not a directory
nano ~/.config/wayfire.ini

This only makes the toolbar smaller and no autohide:
nano /home/jeremystarn/.config/wf-panel-pi/wf-panel-pi.ini

[panel]
autohide = true
autohide_duration = 500
layer = top

Help!
