Hello Dear Community,
Thats my first post on this forum, im a beginner Rpi user and im part of many smart home community and many linux community about selfhosted solutions.
I have a leftover Rpi4B from what I wanted to use as a CUPS + Airprint Print server for my old USB printer.
I boot from SD card and I used Raspberry Pi Imager to write Raspberry Pi Lite 64bit OS to my SD Card.
It was auto-installing the OS as I simply installed CUPS and Airprint and made the right congfiguration and connected the printer and everything was working perfectly.
After 16 hours later I lost network access on the Pi, so I thought I check on it and connected to Ethernet instead of WiFi, but still unreachable.
I tried to restart but did not helped anything, so I decided to connect to a monitor with HDMI, but the screen was fully black at every restart and never showed anything.
Than I decided I replace the SD card and reinstall the OS, but still black screen, so I thought maybe SD card issue and I was trying to boot from USB, but maybe in my older version of Rpi4B its not supported out of box, because I tried multiple USB slots but not booting. I was trying to use the bootloader from USB and a 3rd SD card but none of them was working, only black screen.
What I see on screen:
Black screen constant
What I see on LEDs:
Both red and green blinking full randomly
FYI: I have an original power adapter for it.
Based on my IT knowledge it looks like it has no USB boot support and my SD card slot is dead.
Do you have anything in my what I can try to just trash it and buy another one for my project?
Thank you very much!
Im pretty beginner with Raspberry Pi so any help is appraciated and hopefully I wrote every important information.
Have a nice day.
Cole
