I have fitted a Raspberry Pi 5 M.2 HAT+ and Raspberry Pi 256GB SSD to a Raspberry Pi 5.
I used the Imager to install 64 bit Trixie on it, but it freezes during the boot, often at a flashing cursor. I did manage to get it to boot to the desktop on one occasion, and although the mouse moved, the menus were frozen.
I then tried to copy my working sd Card (same OS) and after a successful copy tried to boot from the SSD. I got similar outcomes, frozen to flashing cursor or frozen desktop.
Has anyone come across this? What am I missing here ?
