I am on KDE-Plasma for the last 4 months or so since i got my Pi-5. It is running perfectly. I installed it over RPIOS Lite version. There are other options like Manjaro which also comes with KDE, but i also wanted the stability that comes with the Pi OS itself. I also love Pi Apps very much and it does not work with distros other than RPIOS and Ubuntu i assume.
You can also use Armbian and install KDE over it.
All distros i mention here come with KDE 5 packages. If you want KDE Plasma 6, you are a bit early. It was very recently released and i don't think we will be able to use it for another couple months (if not more). If you are a pro, maybe you can build it from source yourself but it has so many different packages, i don't even know it is possible. There are some issus that we all experience especially with Wayland which is claimed to have been solved with KDE 6, so i am also curious how it works. Hopefuly, it won't take long.
