The version of Git that's packaged for Raspbian is unsurprisingly slightly out of date, and I'd like to install my own. Git maintain a PPA which packages the latest stable version, though I am unfamiliar with Raspbian and unsure of how to add it. The instructions Git provides are Ubuntu-specific. What's the right mechanism to a new PPA on Raspbian?
