I have installed the Bookworm Raspberry Pi Os to my Pi4 and locally all video is working fine. i installed XRDP, connect from Windows PC and opening the Brave browser comes out like the screenshot - this should be a default Brave New Tab image but its scrambled. VLC video is the same playing a video.

I have tried changing the RDP Display options and Experience options on the client, and on the Pi4 i cant find xrandr or resolution settings in Xorg.ini that a web search suggested would help. i think the resolution of the RDP screen at 1920x1080 is too high but how do i change it to 1280x768 please? Let me know if you need further info.
