Raspbian was handled differently (and not by us)
And who are "us", if you aren't the people from before? Why the switch? (Wasn't Raspbian good enough? Did Raspberry Pi get bought out?) What happened to them? What's happening now that required such a change?
Debian has an "upstream" ARM (64?) distribution? Aside from cell phones, Arduinos, and Raspberry Pi's, who has an ARM system that it would install on? It's not like I've seen Windows 11 for ARM any time recently. (And didn't the Chromebooks use an Intel Atom processor?)
