I am also looking for options to power a pi5 from battery.
I use raspberry pi for robotics so battery is a must for mobile robots.
would be great to use pi 5 so i can use the ai hat on a robot.
here are a couple of the options i have seen. these are products that are specifically for running pi 5 from battery. I am wary of figuring out power supply myself as i dont fully know what i am doing.

https://uk.pi-supply.com/collections/pi ... spberry-pi
the first one is a lot cheaper than the 2nd.
I havent fully researched them. Still need to figure out if the size of battery i will need , on pi 5 robot the due to power requirements, will be too much. I use lego motors so there is a limit to the weight i can carry. motors will be powered independantly.
pi5 will just need to run 5 ultrasonic distance sensors ai hat and do a lot of continous computation,
would love to hear any feedback anyone has on the above for the project mentioned and more generally.
