Hi all,
Only just got back to this today and I can say that using /etc/rc.local seems to have worked by adding the bin/bash comment at the top. Here's
the full code with the output commands, which I could possibly remove now.
So the Hatari executable now runs automatically, though it does seem to take a couple of seconds from the shell appearing and the white Hatari splash screen appearing.
So thanks for all the responses.
Ok off to see if I can install Pimega on a USB and boot directly from that.

Code:
#! /bin/bashsu - dave -c '/home/dave/bin/hatari 2>/home/dave/hatari.log &'exit 0
So thanks for all the responses.
