Hello there,If you have installed the latest updates as per our blog post last week, there is now an option to switch touch support between mouse emulation and multitouch.
Launch the Screen Configuration tool, right click your touchscreen, and under the Touchscreen menu, change the Mode setting from Mouse Emulation (the default) to Multitouch.
You will lose the ability to activate things in the file manager or on the desktop by double-tapping - that is why we use mouse emulation by default.

I have followed your instructions but still have the same issue, is there anything else we can try?
I'm using a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and Waveshare 18.5 inch FHD Monitor.
