Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Pi 5 power options?

This portable power problem has so far has been the most disappointing thing about the Pi5 for me and has caused wasted time and money because it's confusing everyone including the battery resellers. I bought a Waveshare UPS which was sold as being Pi5 compatible and outputting 5V 5A and yet it doesn't actually do that (Waveshare does not themselves advertise this particular one as Pi5 recommended, but the reseller says Pi5 is compatible) and so the undervoltage restricts HATs and devices.

I'm an artist and don't want to become a battery engineer, so I hope when designing ther pi6 Raspberry Pi thinks about this more :)
I am building a pi5 camera and so battery is important and also outdoor installations away from power sources are difficult to design with Pi5 without extensive power supply experience.

It would be great if there were more official resources about recommended and tested options.
