Raspberry Pi OS • Imager says a later version apt says not

On Pi 5 Bookworm running imager from the menu I see v1.9.4. and it tells me there is a later version. I take the option to go to the web site for the latest version where it says on a Pi to do sudo apt install rpi-imager - which tells me 1.9.4 is the latest version.
