I know we've talked about this in another thread. Good to have a separate thread on it. Just want to add that I have the same problem. Error when ejecting NVMe and hard drives in an enclosure.
I have tested 3-4 different hard drives and enclosures without success. Unfortunately, I don't remember if it worked in Bookworm. If I put KDE Plasma on Raspberry Pi OS and Trixie, it seems to work for me.
